One of the most common sexual problems experienced by men is Premature Ejaculation or Uncontrolled Ejaculation. It is observed that approximately 20-30% of men face problem of premature ejaculation. Ejaculation can be defined as the process during sexual intercourse or masturbation when semen is discharged from the penis. But when ejaculation happens suddenly during day or while sleeping or with minimal sexual arousal is known as premature ejaculation.
What are the Possible Causes of Premature Ejaculation?
It is observed that at least once in life of maximum men have experienced premature ejaculation. Below few of the possible causes for premature ejaculation are listed:
- Rushing about the sexual act
- Tension during lovemaking
- Smoking history
- Vascular disease
- Side effect of medications
- Physical injury
Practice Kegel Exercise: Other method to delay ejaculation is to practice pelvic muscle strengthening exercises. Generally these exercises are performed by women during childbirth to hold urine. To practice kegel exercise, for a second contract your buttock and then release. Perform this exercise for at least 15 times twice in a day. This exercise will strengthen the pelvic muscle so that during orgasm you can relax or contract to delay the ejaculation.
Go for Reverse Position during Lovemaking: It is observed that men tend to arose easily when they are in missionary position.
Diet Healthy for Healthy Sex: Sometimes physical changes may also lead to the condition of premature ejaculation. Inadequate blood supply in the penis also leads to premature ejaculation.
Exercise Later: It is not advisable to exercise just before sex. Due to exercising before lovemaking the blood is circulated away from the penis. So keep your exercising schedule after your sexual session.
Home Remedies for Premature Ejaculation
- Daily chew 2-3 cloves of raw garlic. Though your mouth will smell awful but according to scientists garlic acts as tonic in cases of premature ejaculation.
- The white variety of onion is one of the effective aphrodisiac foods. It helps in strengthening of the reproductive organs.
- Mix almost 150gms of finely chopped carrots with half boiled egg and 1 tbsp of honey. Take this mixture once in a day for 2-3 months.
- Boil 1 cup of milk with 15gms of asparagus root. It is advisable to take this milk twice daily.
- Before sleeping take ½ tsp of ginger juice mix it with half boiled egg and 1 tbsp of honey. You need to take this composition at least for a month.
- Mix and pound dried dates, pistachio nuts, almonds, quince seeds in equal quantity. Daily approximately take 100gms of this mixture.
- Wash black raisins with tepid water then boil them with milk. As a result raisins will become sweet and swollen. Eat these swollen and sweet raisins with a glass of milk. Initially you need to eat 30gms of raisins and 200ml of milk but gradually you have to increase the quantity by 50gms each.
- With a glass of milk take 5-10gms of Lady Finger’s root powder and 2 tsp of candy sugar (mishri) daily.
